2. Making a contract with us
2.1 By placing an order through our site you confirm that: you are legally capable of entering into binding contracts; you are at least 18 years old.
2.2 When you place an order with us, you are making an offer to buy goods. We will send you an e-mail to confirm that we have received your order.
2.3 Once we have reviewed your order we will e-mail you again to confirm that we accept your order, and that a contract has been made between us.
2.4 In the unlikely event that the goods are no longer available, or that we have made a pricing mistake, we will advise you of this.
2.5 Your order will not include any of the pictured accessories, unless stated in the specification of the goods.
2.6 We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colours of our products that appear on this website. However, we cannot guarantee that your monitor's display of any colour will accurately reflect the colour of the actual goods.Due to the nature of the production process, slight variations and imperfections in ceramic and glass basins are normal and not considered flaws. Due to this process, sizes have a 5% variance tolerance and may also result in variations of shape, glaze, colour, pock marks from object to object.Due to the nature of materials and production processes dimensions of rasin solid surface wash basins may vary within a tolerance of ± 2%.
2.7 We attempt to ensure that information on this web site is complete, accurate and current including data about the Product's price, availability and photographs. We reserve the right to correct errors and/or update the content on our website at any time without notice. If we discover an error in the price of any goods which you have ordered we will inform you of this as soon as possible and give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling it. If we are unable to contact you we will treat the order as cancelled and you will receive a full refund.
2.8 This contract is covered by Scottish law.
3. How to place an order
3.1 You can use our website to place an order by selecting the product you wish to buy and adding it to your cart. Items you do not require can be removed from your cart at any time.
3.2 You will be required to pay for the goods in full at the time of ordering.
3.3 We use secure payment facilities for online purchases. You can pay for your order by debit card through PayPal or Google Checkout/Wallet website.
3.4 Promotional prices only apply during the period stated.
3.5 All prices quoted on our website are in UK pounds and include Value Added Tax at the current rate where appropriate.
3.6 Once your order has been confirmed, changes may not be possible or may incur additional charges or delays.
3.7 Once your order is complete we will notify you of the dispatch date and any estimated dispatch date is a an estimate, which can change without notice.
4. Delivery & Carriage Charges
4.1 We offer 1-2 working days delivery if the goods are in stock or 7-14 working days delivery service if the goods are out of stock for small, light weight items(taps, small basins) but it may take longer to arrive up to 21 days.
4.2 We offer a 14-21 working days delivery service for large items (large freestanding basins, shower panels, shower sets), but it may take longer to arrive up to 30 days.
4.3 For bathroom furniture (very heavy items) we aim to deliver approx within 14 days if the goods are in stock or 6-8 weeks for non stock items of the order being placed and approved.
4.4 Time for delivery is given as accurately as possible but is not guaranteed.
4.5 We ship nationwide in the UK excluding: Channel Islands, Isle of Wight, Isle of Man, Scilly Isles, Scottish Islands, Northern Ireland.
4.6 Shipping charges will be shown prior to you placing your order.
4.7 Your order may arrive in more than one delivery.
4.8 We will deliver the goods to the premises you specify on your order. You must be at home to accept delivery of your order, which is normally between 9:00am and 6:00pm Monday-Friday.
4.9 We will not accept responsibility for loss or damage if you instruct the delivery company to leave the goods unattended.
4.10 Most of our products are relatively weighty items and you may be required to assist the driver in offloading your order.
4.11 Disposal of packing materials is your responsibility.
4.12 For furniture/heavy items a re-delivery charge of £50 will be applied if the courier has attempted to deliver products on the agreed day, and no one is available to receive the delivery. For delivery of small items, our courier will leave you a notification card, if no-one is in to sign for the order. You must contact the courier to rearrange delivery. After two failed delivery attempts (or if you are not at home for an agreed delivery) the goods may be returned to the warehouse and we reserve the right to charge you £15 for a re-delivery.
4.13 If you change the delivery address once the goods have been dispatched to you, we reserve the right to pass on any extra charges made by our carriers for redirecting your delivery.
4.14 Please check the goods on delivery - any goods found to be missing or damaged should be notified to the delivery driver at the time of delivery or ourselves within a reasonable time.
4.15 If the goods are lost or damaged in transit, please let us know promptly.
4.16 Deliveries are made to a ground floor entrance only and on the condition that there is reasonable access for the safe and prompt delivery of the goods. You should tell us about any special delivery requirements or conditions when you place your order.
4.17 Sometimes, for reasons beyond our control we may be prevented from delivering your goods as planned. These might include things such as accidents, breakdowns, fire, flood, storm, severe weather, acts of god, war, riot, civil commotion, malicious damage or the default of our suppliers. We will try to put things right as soon as possible however we can’t be responsible where this causes a delay or failure in delivering your goods.
5.Returns & Exchange
5.1 We accept cancellations for the orders within 14 days of the order being placed. Shipping charges are not refundable.
5.2 You must give us a written notice to cancelling the contract.
5.3 After 14 days, the order is considered as final sale and cannot be fully refunded.
5.4 If you cancel your order after 14 days a 20% handling charge of order value will be incurred or we are happy offer you a credit slip/voucher of the same value to spend in our online shop when the product has not been sent.
5.5 If you wish to exchange a product you received, please notify us by email or in writing immediately. We are unable to process an exchange until we receive the product back. You can exchange your order for items of the same value or higher.
5.6 Once we receive your returned item for exchange in perfect condition we will email you credit slip/voucher to spend in our online shop.
5.7 If the goods are misdescribed we will refund your purchase.
5.8 If there is a problem with the goods, please notify us by email or in writing within 7 working days from the day after delivery providing details of the problem, so that we may work with you to arrange a return, replacement, refund, or credit. Its helpful if you can provide us with a digital photograph of the problem as this normally saves you having to return the goods for inspection. We will deal with the matter in accordance with your legal rights.
5.9 Returned items should be unused, unopened, unmarked and must be returned in the original manufacturer's packaging with any enclosed documentation. We will issue a full refund on receipt.
5.10 Goods will only be accepted for return if they are despatched within 30 days of receipt of the order, unless we have notified you otherwise. We are unable to process your refund until we receive the product back.
5.11 The cost of returning the item to us is your responsibility. Delivery charges are only refundable where goods are faulty.
5.12 The item is your responsibility until it reaches us. Therefore for your own protection we recommend that you send the parcel using a delivery service that insures you for the value of the goods.
5.13 Once your package has been received at Bathroom Avenue, if you are entitled to a refund, in the interests of fraud prevention, your refund will be credited back to your original method of payment within 28 days of receipt of the return. If you wish to make an exchange, you will need to place a new order using credit slip/voucher (unless you are exchanging a damaged item).
5.14 We are unable to offer a refund or an exchange on products, which have been custom made, personalized or manufactured at request (made to customer order) unless they are faulty. In this case, we are happy to send you a voucher to spend at our online shop.
5.15 Business customers, or customers exempt from the distance selling regulations may not cancel an order without our mutual agreement.
6.1 All goods are covered by a manufacturer’s warranty against faulty workmanship and materials, subject to the terms and conditions of that warranty.
6.2 The manufacturer’s warranty is provided in addition to the rights that the law says you have as a consumer and accordingly, your statutory rights are not affected.
8.Trade or Business Customers
The following conditions apply to orders placed by Trade or Business Customers.
8.1 Orders may not be cancelled except with our mutual agreement and having been confirmed in writing by a Director or our company. We reserve the right to make cancellation and/or re-stocking charges.
8.2 Claims for missing or damaged items must be made within 2 days of delivery.
9.1 The products sold on this website have been designed to comply with all relevant UK legislation. We cannot warrant or represent that they comply with any legal requirement outside the UK.
9.2 We do not accept liability for any consequential loss of profit or indirect losses.
10. Use of Website
10.1 You are permitted to use our website for your own purposes and to print and download material from this Website, provided that you do not modify any content without our consent. Material on this website must not be republished online or offline without our permission.
10.2 The copyright and other intellectual property rights in all material on this website are owned by us or our licensors and must not be reproduced without our prior consent.

11. Visitor conduct
